The brand illustrations are inspired by the couple's world travels which inspired the creation of the business.

A husband and wife team came to Cohere looking for advice after working through the branding process on their own. They had a suite of logos and some brand elements, but lacked a cohesive brand vision and packaging for their growing brand, 

Cohere got involved by creating a fresh brand strategy and identity system full of custom illustrations inspired by the couple's world travels. Equipped with new brand visuals, photography and social video content, the team was able to launch their hand-made brioche doughnuts out of DC's Union Kitchen, delivering directly to customers online and at pop-up events. Reaction has been overwhelmingly positive, and we believe there's a bright future for this DC-based brand.

After a whirlwind year due to COVID, the Starr Restaurants team asked themselves “what does the world need right now?” and decided upon comfort food and humor. Starr decided to take the greatest hits from El Vez, tweak them, and package the food with digital entertainment to create not only a burrito restaurant but a lifestyle brand. That is how Jackass Burrito, the alter-ego of their fine dining restaurants came to life. It is no longer about the four walls of a restaurant, but about “content-tainment” the OTT (over the top) approach to the future of restaurants + social media. Jackass is about feeding people with more than just good food – but also with humor, content, and music. We helped interpret this idea into all elements of Jackass, from the photoshoot, website, social media, and merch design.

Cohere has embarked on a long-term journey with family-run brand, AAJI'S. From the family's earliest inkling of an idea for a CPG business, we have remained steadfast brand advisors and creative partners for the team, creating all original branding, packaging, content and collateral items that have propelled the brand from farmers' markets to regional retailers.

Entering the market with an innovative, delicious, and intuitive condiment product called 

, the AAJI'S team has driven awareness and introduced a new product to western audiences. Rooted in three generations of family recipes and a genuine love for sharing food, AAJI'S has successfully created a following for the ancient flavors of Maharashtra and coastal Indian cuisine.

"The two colored labels, bracketed by bold type with a craftsman illustration at the center, promise 

 is a James Beard nominated chef specializing in Szechuan cuisine who has 

 for his concepts up and down the East Coast.

As his empire continues to expand, it seemed appropriate that this culinary icon deserved his own signature drink. Approaching Baltimore’s own Mobtown Brewing to produce a new take on a classic lager style, our teams concocted a crisp rice-based brew with a light and citrusy zing. Perfect with Mapo Tofu.

Fans can now find ‘Peter’s House Beer’ throughout his locations including Peter Chang Baltimore and beloved NiHao by Chef Peter Chang.

The design came to life from inspiration brought to us by the restaurant: traditional Chinese blue-and-white pottery. We married this patternwork with modern motifs and typography.

In 2006, Susquehanna Mills Co. was born from the founder's interest in cost-effective bio-diesel as a sustainable alternative to fuel vehicles used in his construction business. Since then, the brand has evolved from a supplier of bio-diesel to a manufacturer of quality Canola, Sunflower, and Hemp cooking oils whose top priority is sustainability. To bolster this expanded direct to consumer retail strategy, a fresh visual approach was required.

Cohere was engaged to redesign the brand identity, with a focus on consumer packaging design and content to showcase across e-commerce and digital channels. The end result includes a custom wordmark and illustrations, fresh product packaging lineup, and rich content that showcases the process behind the products.

Equipped with a refreshed brand and packaging line-up for the variety of oils they sell, Susquehanna Mills Co. was able to upgrade their web presence as well, opening an underutilized e-commerce sales channel to drive more D2C sales. The new labels, video and photo content, and packaging refresh have allowed this growing brand to continue to reach new audiences across the region.

le zette created their brand as a love letter to the Turkish yogurt drink 

 after a trip to Turkey revealed the unique power of its freshness to both founders, Humza and Ishika. They've captured the essence remarkably in this savory, craveable summer drink known for its gut-friendly benefits. Look for them on shelves in California and beyond.

This sheep's milk yogurt is finding its way not only into retail outlets, but into cocktails and other beverage collaborations seeking to mix things up - find it featured in 

 a cocktail from L.A.’s Pijja Palace, featuring a mango lassi mix and mezcal.

Le Zette is bringing the taste of Turkey to the West Coast. With a recipe rooted in simplicity and flavor, each sip of ayran will help transport you to a moment of pure serenity on Turkey’s Turquoise Coast.

A startup CPG brand lead by Jeff Aziakou, Dimi turned to Cohere for a comprehensive, brand-refining identity and packaging design to support a regional retail launch. Uniquely-packaged cakes in a jar, Dimi products fill a unique niche in the refrigerated section.

The idea for Dimi came in part from Aziakou’s upbringing in France. Born in the United States to French immigrants, Jeff was frustrated by the lack of access to quality-made cakes, pastries, and similarly portioned desserts on the market in the U.S. With omni-channel sales goals, the brand is growing organically in the Philadelphia region, bolstered by Cohere's creative collateral, content direction, and packaging design.

Cohere managed the brand refinement for this CPG company, helping them navigate the next stage of growth. Coming to us with a baseline brand package, we helped to strategically refresh the packaging for better storytelling, product descriptions, and flavor-specific design. Creative content capture following the packaging refresh provided the brand with an inventory of imagery that has allowed ongoing storytelling across their sales and marketing channels.

It started with an effort to add something new, yet comforting to our wine series, a wine that feels like home. A wine that brings people together not just in celebration, but in comfort—the kind of bottle you open when the night slows down, the fire crackles, and conversation lingers. After crafting the bright and welcoming 

Rosé Piquette and the crisp, zippy and refreshing 

 Orange, it was only natural to complete the trilogy with a red. And so, 

A blend of Cab Franc and Petit Verdot, this is a wine with depth but not pretense—smooth, warming, and casual. It’s made for slow evenings with close friends, for dinners that stretch past the last bite, for the moments that make a house feel like a home. Working closely with our partners at good neighbor and Old Westminster Winery, Cohere developed a brand identity and packaging that reflects this warmth and familiarity—rich, welcoming, and unforced. 

"Guest House Red continues the evolution of the series’ hand-painted watercolor labels, shifting this time from the soft pinks of the first release and the warm oranges of the second to a richer, more grounded red to reflect the wine itself, the design is all about craft and character. The gradient wash was created by hand for each design in the series, and the wine name is hand-lettered to keep things personal."

Old Westminster Winery Collaboration: A Natural Wine Series by Cohere x Good Neighbor

Based on a collaborative design and blending process, this wine brings together local brands with an eye for hospitality and design.

It started with a simple premise: Let’s make a wine to reinforce the idea of connection, and to celebrate all the new connections yet to be made. After a few brainstorming sessions, a comprehensive winery tour, and good bit of sampling, the recipe and ethos for 

 were born and brought to life with our partners 

. Cohere designed the wine brand identity and packaging, captured content for marketing, while our partners brought the product to life for all to enjoy. 

This project was the beginning of a series of wine releases and a fruitful ongoing collaboration between our brands.

As Cohere navigated the partnership between winery and retail, we served as a unifying voice for the overall product vision.

This kind of collaboration, initiated by the agency itself, is something that Cohere embraces. By finding the right partners who do what they do best, and amplifying each others’ strengths, we can produce a product that hits on all the right aspects of vision, taste, impact, and community. Cheers to that.

Cohere approached Alfred Restaurant Group with an idea: let customers bring the scents and experience of beloved French-style brasserie 

 home with them. Strategized as a holiday gift campaign, we conceptualized a candle product line that was named and created after the restaurant's signature drinks and dishes. From vendor research, to creative copy, and content capture, we brought this product to life for the restaurant group, initiating their first foray into e-commerce to boost sales and recognition.

 we reimagined their brand identity, packaging, and merchandise to better reflect their core values and vision as a PA-based startup coffee roaster and nitro coffee brand. VFCR’s founding principles are now reflected in the new look: hand-selected, fair trade, small-batch, roasted-to-order coffee beans. Our
